Increase Your Knowledge,
Secure Your Firm's Future

There are always challenges to face in the legal profession. Over the last few years we have adapted our systems to cope with Fixed Costs, Referral Fees and regular changes to the Civil Procedure Rules. Whatever has happend, MASS Training and MASS have always ensured that those attending their annual conference are supplied with the most up to date and vital information. This year is no different.

The New Streamlined RTA Claims Process has made all of the legal headlines this year and the MoJ have finally released the details. MASS has been heavily involved in negotiations, and we will be discussing the new process in depth. There are also many other developments that you have to take into account when running your personal injury practice, department or caseload.

The MASS Conference provides you with the opportunity to be brought up to date on all current issues facing personal injury practitioners in one day. It also provides you with excellent networking opportunities with the chance to mingle with over 300 solicitors and associated professionals. One of the hidden benefits is that we are regularly told that it is the most "friendly" legal conference every year.

The conference is now less than 5 weeks away taking place in London on
Friday 13th November. If you have never attended before, this year would be an excellent year to do so.

Limited Spaces For Conference And Hotel

The Conference programme this year includes:

  • A Conservative View – Henry Bellingham MP, Shadow Minister for Justice is our keynote speaker. He will be touching on all the main issues of the conference.
  • Motorcycle Claims – Colin McCaul QC of 39 Essex Street, a motorcyclist himself, will take us through these difficult claims, concentrating on reconstruction issues.
  • Alternative Business Structures – We are thrilled to have secured David Edmonds, Chairman of the Legal Services Board, who will be looking at what solicitors should be considering and doing now to prepare for 2011.
  • Streamlining The Claims Process – Janet Tilley and John Spencer will provide a comprehensive review of what has been agreed.
  • Third Party Capture - Helping The Victim Or Saving Money? – A panel discussion, facilitated by the MASS Chairman, which includes solicitors and insurer representatives

The spaces are always limited due to the size of the venue. Accommodation sold out in record time last year so we urge you to book your space early to avoid disappointment.
