Get ready for September!

MASS Training will be very busy this autumn – we are happy to announce that we have planned to run no less than three brand new webinars for you this September!

Have we piqued your interest yet?

Just take a look at what’s coming up, you will definitely find something for you!

What do you know about Disclosure?

Let’s focus a bit on Disclosure. As an RTA/PI practitioner you have to be absolutely certain that you understand the scope of disclosure, the parties’ obligations and issues of privilege in PI Litigation. Do you have all the knowledge and skills required to draft effective applications and respond to applications for disclosure pre-proceedings, non-party disclosure and specific disclosure? If you are still unsure, this webinar is for you. More specifically, we will take you through:

Attending this webinar, will give you a much more acute understanding of all-things-Disclosure so get ready to become an expert!!

Who’s it for?

This is a Level 1: Introductory webinar. This means that it is mainly directed to personal injury practitioners who are new to RTA/PI Claims. Solicitors who have been confident and more experienced at handling their own case load effectively for a while, might find it less challenging for their taste.

How can I watch this webinar?

This webinar will be broadcasted live on Monday, 16th September at 1:00 pm.

Uninsured Drivers on Private Land – is the MIB Liable?

If you handle MIB Claims, you already know that the Lewis v Tindale Court of Appeal decision has muddled the waters regarding MIB’s liability when motor accidents are caused by uninsured motorists on private land. But can you confidently ascertain what does this mean for your current and future cases? If you want to know more about how this decision will impact you, do not miss this webinar. In particular, we will explain:

When somebody was injured by an uninsured motorist on private land, the MIB was not required to satisfy any judgment obtained against the uninsured motorist. Until now. Attend this webinar and find out what comes next.

Who’s it for?

This is a Level 2: Experienced Practitioner webinar. This means it is suitable for personal injury practitioners who run their own caseload. It may not be appropriate for those who have recently started their careers in personal injury law.

How can I watch this webinar?

This webinar will be presented live on Thursday, 26th September at 1:00 pm

Part 36 offers – Are you really up-to-date?

The subject of Part 36 offers might not sound particularly complex to most experienced solicitors. Nevertheless, if giving the best advice possible to your clients is a priority, you need to be constantly updated on all the latest decisions. Are you confident that you can apply knowledge of recent key decisions on the exercise of the Part 36 costs discretion to advise your claimants on the costs consequences of late acceptance? If you are uncertain, a Part 36 Update would prove beneficial to you and your practice. Our new webinar will get you up-to-date on:

Being trained on all the latest, important Part 36 developments that took place over the last 12 months will definitely benefit both you and your firm.

Who’s it for?

This is a Level 3: Team Leader / Supervisor Practitioner webinar. This means that it would better suit personal injury practitioners who have years of experience handling RTA/PI Claims. This is our most challenging webinar level so if you are a seasoned, experienced solicitor this is an appropriate webinar for you to watch.

How can I watch this webinar?

This webinar will be broadcasted live on Monday, 30th September at 1:00 pm.

Who will be my trainer?

All three webinars will be presented by Nicky Carter, who has been delivering training on behalf of MASS Training since 2010. Nicky is a self-employer solicitor and MASS trainer.

What if I cannot attend live?

All our webinars are recorded during the live presentation so if you are unable to join us live you can always watch the recorded version. Within 24 hours of the initial presentation, we will send the recording link to you via e-mail – and the good news do not end here! Not only do you have an entire year to watch our webinars (meaning you can do so at your own leisure) but you can also watch them as many times as you wish within this one year span.

All MASS Webinars cost the same. The MASS Member rate is £75 for a single view and £150 for a group view. For non-MASS members, a single view comes to £95, while for a group view you will be charged £190.

What Our Clients Say

The problem when attending any personal injury legal training course is knowing whether you are actually going to learn anything new or find a different perspective, or whether you will just hear the same things that you have heard many, many times before.

The good news with MASS Training is that you know it is always going to be the former case. MASS’ courses are practical, informative and excellent value for money. My staff always come back feeling inspired and energised by having their existing knowledge and expertise confirmed, but also by picking up some new practical steps that they can immediately implement to make them more efficient in their day to day tasks.

I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending MASS Training to anyone looking for Personal Injury Training. It is the best training available.

MASS Training provide excellent content. The fact that they are in the main practising solicitors or legal executives means that not only do they fully understand their specialist subject matter, but they also know how to use this knowledge in the day to day running of their case load.

If they are not currently running a course covering the area of law that they are interested I know that if I suggest it to them they will be happy to prepare a course for us either in-house or generally within a matter of weeks.

We have in the past, and continue to, send our staff on the MASS Diploma Course, an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills and understanding for running RTA matters. If you are not yet ensuring your staff attend MASS Training courses, you are missing out on some of the best Personal Injury Training available.

Very informative. Easy to understand. Not a typical course which you can easily lose concentration

Thoroughly enjoyed it! It was both informative and practical, the fact it was quite hands on and interactive made the subject matter come to life and the topic elements sink in to some sort of structure! I feel like I actually understand some of the fundamental elements
