How to Build a Strong Team

It is of vital importance that your PI legal practice is comprised by a well organised, strong team capable of handling the day’s workload effectively and without any mistakes. Your members of staff should be able to work well and communicate successfully with each other while also being aware of each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Additionally you should take care that each individual is effectively contributing to the team as a whole by utilising and highlighting their unique attributes and talents.

Therefore, team building trough common activities should ideally be taking place at regular intervals at your firm for the benefit of you and your employees. Said activities should allow all members of staff to participate in order to learn each other better and find out how the combination of their distinct personalities fit within the office environment for maximum results.

And while after work drinks or office lunches are certainly fun and promote team building to an extent, they fail to successfully include and integrate all the members of your staff. Activities that take place outside the office environment can make the shy or introverted members of your team reluctant to attend or actively participate in conversations. They also cannot account for those employees who are unable to join your team’s lunch breaks due to a heavy workload or even those who due to familial responsibilities are incapable of attending an after-work-drinks outing.  This means that only a small selection of individuals are able to properly bond, while others are left outside their close circle.

We of course, do not suggest that you discourage office lunches and drinks. What we wish to do is help you introduce a new and much more productive team building method at your office. This team building method, Interactive In-House Training, will benefit all your members of staff and promises to encourage each and every one of them to participate in group activities and assist them become a more active and productive member of your team.

How will Interactive In-House Training help me build a stronger team?

Interactive In-House Training is not only an enjoyable and satisfying activity in and of itself; it will also enhance your team by teaching them all the important tools they need in order to handle their claims efficiently, effectively and to the best of their ability. Face to face interactive training, unlike any other method, can elevate team building to another level. It enables your individual staff members to unify during group exercises whose completion requires team work. By working together in groups, your employees can practically see, better understand the unique skillset of their colleagues and determine how these talents can best be applied at the workplace when working in collaboration with each other.

Most importantly, Interactive In-House Training excludes no one. It is laden with activities that require the participation of every single delegate, so all members of your team, even the shyer ones, will be given the opportunity to be actively involved. Through the conversations which will be promoted and encouraged during your session, your staff will find out more about each other, as well as the problems or struggles they face with their clients and cases at the work place. This can in turn help create a greater sense of self-worth and build the confidence of those members of your team that are more reluctant to act and speak up.

Interactive In-House Training is one of the most effective methods to build a stronger, more unified team in which each individual plays an active role and is heard. It presents all delegates with the opportunity not only to learn new skills, but also each other and how to better work as a strong unit. This exercise, if done regularly, can make work a more productive, fun and enjoyable place to be.

What Our Clients Say

The problem when attending any personal injury legal training course is knowing whether you are actually going to learn anything new or find a different perspective, or whether you will just hear the same things that you have heard many, many times before.

The good news with MASS Training is that you know it is always going to be the former case. MASS’ courses are practical, informative and excellent value for money. My staff always come back feeling inspired and energised by having their existing knowledge and expertise confirmed, but also by picking up some new practical steps that they can immediately implement to make them more efficient in their day to day tasks.

I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending MASS Training to anyone looking for Personal Injury Training. It is the best training available.

MASS Training provide excellent content. The fact that they are in the main practising solicitors or legal executives means that not only do they fully understand their specialist subject matter, but they also know how to use this knowledge in the day to day running of their case load.

If they are not currently running a course covering the area of law that they are interested I know that if I suggest it to them they will be happy to prepare a course for us either in-house or generally within a matter of weeks.

We have in the past, and continue to, send our staff on the MASS Diploma Course, an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills and understanding for running RTA matters. If you are not yet ensuring your staff attend MASS Training courses, you are missing out on some of the best Personal Injury Training available.

Very informative. Easy to understand. Not a typical course which you can easily lose concentration

Thoroughly enjoyed it! It was both informative and practical, the fact it was quite hands on and interactive made the subject matter come to life and the topic elements sink in to some sort of structure! I feel like I actually understand some of the fundamental elements
